Who doesn’t love a Mountain scene, especially one celebrating Fall in the Mountains? After a long hot summer on the coast, the Mountains called me to visit in the Fall. My visit was the inspiration for this piece. Handcrafted from a piece of ocean washed salvaged wood, bits of twisted metal portray the Bald Rock Mountains and are accented by twisted nails. Individual trees are hand painted with trunks made from bent wire. A recycled piece of jute string forms the dirt road. To add extra rustic delight, this piece is framed in broken twigs that have been whitewashed.
This is a perfect piece for the mountain cabin, lake house or anywhere a mountain lover can be found. Maybe placed outside if in a covered area.
