“The Color of Love” is full of rich details such as the colorful paper collage made from recycled magazines. This collage provides the bold colors that draw the viewer in. The Found Objects are responsible for the large Heart as well as the interesting texture used to accentuate the paper collage. This piece is a perfect example of combining industrial objects with rich color to create a marriage of industry and art.
This piece has been created on a repurposed canvas. The large red heart is made from a flattened piece of metal. Wire and metal scraps give this Mixed Media Sculpture an added dimension and provides textural richness. Broken wood strips have been used to frame the piece.
