What I love about this piece is the title “She will love the Earth.” A simple, encouraging message that yes, the Earth will be loved. As an Environmentally Responsible Artist, this is my mantra. The fact that this piece is also created from reclaimed things makes the message even more heartfelt.
Materials used were taken from the streets and beaches of Charleston in hopes of keeping them out of the roadways and the waterways. Repurposed items found in this piece include cardboard, wire, washers, paper, pull tabs, bottle caps, metal scraps and a bell.
This would be such a wonderful “welcome to the world” gift for a baby girl. Or a present for that friend who likes to garden. The bright sunflowers alone are sure to uplift anyone needing a unique gift. And the happy, cheerful Earth Angel is certain to spread her positive vibes around.
Dimensions: 5” x 9” x 4” Can stand alone or be hung. Appropriate for the outdoors if in a covered area.
