This piece is fo all those amazing, remarkable women who face struggles every day. I salute you and your bravery. I cannot walk in your shoes, but I can give you my love and support through my art.
The paper collage/bikini top bra is the centerpiece of this composition. Made from recycled cardboard and tissue paper, found objects adorn this top and give it extra fortification. Items used include wire, pull tabs, nails, metal scraps, screws, washers and bottle caps. There are also American Flags and Pink Ribbons made from wire and metal scraps. The piece is famed in twigs stained white to add a finished look to the canvas.
Dimensions: 8" x 8" x 2". Can stand alone or be hung.
