This happy little bird is created from paper mache and reclaimed wire. The wings are made from an old soup can top and accented with old coat hanger wire. The beak is made from a piece of an old can and then painted with bright acrylics.
The vibrant blues and pinks are eye catching, but so are the various Found Objects used to accent this colorful bird. Anchoring the bird's two feet is a small Found Object sculpture consisting of wire, a can top and reclaimed small bells. There is so much more to this piece and the viewer will delight in all the hidden surprises.
