Bird by the Red Shack
Created from Salvaged Wood and Found Objects, this happy little piece will make a perfect addition to any room in the house. It can even be hung out on a screen porch. Big bright sunflowers made from repurposed washers, wire and metal scraps add a bit of color and whimsy, as does the bright yellow sun created from an old street worn washer. The sassy, playful little bird has been crafted from an old bottle cap and parts of an old soup can. The bright red and white polka dot balls that are found on the bottom of the piece are recycled dowels. Red, white and blue are used generously to give this piece an extra folksy feel in keeping with American Folk Art.
