This sweet horse has layers of pull tabs painted in several shades of dark brown to give him a rich, bold texture. Even his mane, also made from pull tabs has a strong textural quality about it. With eyes made from recycled washers and a halter made from metal scraps painted bright red, this horse is definitely the leader of his pack.
A painted canvas of bright blues and greens serve as the background and is a vivid contrast to the deep browns of the horse. Twigs stained white frame the piece and give it a finished look as well as an extra layer of detail.
